About Us

SRI SAKTHI POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE is a concern of SELVANARAYANA REDDIYAR EDUCATIONAL TRUST and has been in operation since 2009.

The trust includes accomplished engineers, educators and community builders with deep roots in the rural district of Tiruvannamalai, brought together by a desire to serve their home and people as best as they can. The famous temple town and villages surrounding it are primarily agrarian and lag behind in several developmental indicators. Chengam, the taluk where SSPC is based, is lush with rolling hills and dense forests but also faces key challenges like early marriage of girls, caste discrimination and civic issues. Education and entrepreneurship are key to the upliftment of the people here, and that goal is at the heart of our instutition as well.

We began functioning in 2009 with four core branches, soon adding Diploma in Agricultural Technology and Diploma in Tool & Die making in 2014. We were one of the first institutes to offer these courses in the region and have continued this tradition with the introduction of Diploma in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in 2024.
